Paramore - Decode (chris_b reinvention)finally started to be proactive about this project after sitting on it for a couple years. the plan is to find 2-3 other people with similar equipment (midi controlled devices) and a live singer or two to create some rich compellations from a (semi)new standpoint. i’m ...running a vestax pdx-3000mix tuntable and stanton sk-2f mixer controlled via midi (w/ and akai mpd24) to change the speed of the platter rotation, thus controlling pitch, resulting in the ability to play 'notes'. so the mpd isn't triggering samples, its actually changing the speed and pitch of the sound from the record...and in this case...timecoded vinyl and torq on the laptop....
