Don't Go - UKulele Versions - Yazoo covershhh! don't tell anybody, but secretly i quite like 1980s electro-synthpop. this is from yazoo's album, upstairs at eric's which is fantastic and doesn't contain a single bad song. for those not familiar with yazoo, they were, synthesiser wizard, vince clarke and, voice of a slightly butch angel, alison moyet. anyway, i set out to do a pure acoustic ukulele version of the song but was posessed by marilyn manson's version of soft cell's tainted love and ended up playing the concert uke through a distortion effect and close to the amp for feedback effect at the end of the phrases. i put a drum machine track on it - don't worry, my homemade percussion will be back. so only the soprano uke and double-tracked (in places) vox are acoustic. ask me if i care.......
